Spring Open Studio was quieter this year, but was still good. I like having more opportunity to talk to people about my work, and discuss possible projects. A lot of folks liked the new pieces, I will try to get photos on the site of the work that didn't already sell. Send a note if you wish to be emailed a note about the next open studio event.
I have a floorcloth in a show at the Madison MOCA. ( http://www.mmoca.org/) Designers created vignettes inspired by a piece of art in the collection, and my floorcloth was used in one of the vignettes. This was done through my association with the Artful Home (www.artfulhome.com) a craft and art retailer based in Madison WI. They do a good job of seeking out some of the finest craft artists in the country for their catalog and website.

I will be bringing my floorcloths ( one needs to get juried in with a category of work, thus only floorcloths) to the American Craft Council show at Fort Mason in August. The dates for the show are August 15-17. For more information about the show visit www.craftcouncil.org
I also am planning a show at STUDIO. We wanted to tie it in with the airing of the HGTV show that I did last year. It is supposed to air in the fall, but is subject to the vagaries and whims of the folks at the network. If you want to be notified of the date, send a note. It will be mostly Venetian Plaster panels and paintings.
